Nah. The real flex is walking into any room the block, the boardroom, the family cookout, the investor meeting as the same man. Adjusted, maybe. But never erased.
Code-switching vs. selling out

How to stay you in rooms that weren’t built for you
Know your non-negotiables. Before you walk into any new environment, get clear on what you won’t compromise. Your word. Your people. Your standards. Everything else is adjustable those things aren’t.
Let your work do the loudest talking. Being authentic doesn’t mean being unprepared. The best way to never have to prove you belong is to be undeniable at what you do.
Dress like both worlds raised you. Because they did. A clean fit with cultural roots says “I know exactly who I am” louder than any costume ever could. You don’t have to choose between fly and respected. Real ones are both.
